Brazil

    I just got back to the USA after several weeks in Brasil. The Lord opened doors in public schools, churches and personal contacts for us to share the Good news of Jesus Christ with many people. We were blessed to lead over 400 people to faith in Jesus Christ. Glory to Jesus!

 Haiti

We have permission to do a crusade on the Presidents front lawn in Haiti. So far very few funds came in. We helped purchase food for the Haitian people instead. Please pray for Haiti.

Edmond Oklahoma

Only Jesus can put together such things: We moved to Oklahoma City just a few weeks ago. We did not really understand why God was leading us so far away from our family and friends. Someone at the church Face-booked a couple named Shane and Ana’s phone number to us because Ana is from Brasil and there could be a connection for a new friendship for Edna and I. We had no idea Shane was an Oklahoma State Representative. I called Shane’s cell number and they invited us to a dinner party.  As we shared the evening, a kindred spirit was found as if long lost family just returned home. Edna and I were in awe that God put such a profound man of God into government and wondered deep in our hearts what the future holds. We both said: “What are you up to now Lord?!”

About a week latter, the Lord led us to attend another church called Lifechurch.tv on Saturday evening ,June 12 . We met Associate Pastor Ryan and he told us to call Monday to set up a meeting to find out more about the church.  Early Monday morning June 14, almost a foot of rain fell in the Oklahoma City area, flooding and closing 9 streets with water entering over 200 homes in the area.

   Edna and I don't have public TV at home. We got up that morning and I called the church for a meeting with Pastor Ryan...His administrator told me: “The whole church staff and volunteers are down at the disaster sight. You will have to wait on a meeting until next week.” We went down to the flood zone and started tearing out carpet and tons flood soaked of household items. Mountains of trash lined the streets. When we finished the first house I stopped and prayed with the homeowners. I asked: “How are you holding up in all of this?” ...tears flowed. We prayed. She said thank you so much. You are the first person to pray with us in this nightmare. Later that day, I asked the pastors,  “who is doing spiritual care?” One answered, “you’re the man, we’ve heard about you. praying with the people, keep doing what you do best.” Edna and I officially became the disaster sight chaplains.

   During the whole week, we discovered that no government agency came to the sight to talk with people. There were no police officers patrolling and looting commenced. The trash company refused to come pick up the piles of soaked home furnishings and mold smells filled the air. People and church leaders made many phone calls, nothing was happening. Trash kept mounting. People’s hope were  failing. As we prayed with them’ tears and sorrow kept growing. The Lord brought to mind our new friends. I called Shane Jett for help. Shane came to the sight with no media, tired from a long day of work and an almost dead cell phone. He talked with the people, heard their needs and started making phone calls. The end of day came quickly, darkness fell as a blanket over the community and we all were exhausted. Shane and I prayed together for the people and went home for some rest.

   We arrived to the sight next morning and WOW! Fema agents were there talking with the people. Trash trucks were scooping up garbage and Police Officers were on every entrance to the area. Representative Jett was also able to bring in the Alert Academy ministry, who came with 60 volunteers with Colonel Tanner to finish cleaning out homes, tear out soaked sheetrock and many other tasks.  Thank you Jesus! Thank you  Shane Jett for all your help,

 Confidence in Friends

I studied Hap Ki Do for many years earning a 1st Degree Black Belt in this martial art. There is a code of honor  between warriors on the battlefield: One of them, “Confidence in Friends.” It means that each fellow warrior watches each other’s back, protecting each other, keeping our swords on our enemy. It is a character trait that is second nature on the battle field and through out life, especially in god Army! It is a warrior’s honor, a friendship unshakeable and true in all circumstances.

   Time grows ever closer of Jesus return. We need you to partner with us and “Watch our back as fellow warriors.”  We need you prayers, help and financial support, so we can do what God has called us to do for 2010 and beyond.  We have confidence in you our friends.
